Lendlease has sold over 50 per cent of its luxury residential tower One Circular Quay in Sydney’s CBD, resulting in over $1 billion in sales to date, in what is set to become Australia’s most expensive residential tower.
Sales in the under-construction tower launched to a VIP database late last year. However, residents can expect to wait until 2026 to take the keys, when the two-tower project is slated for completion.Located at the former Gold Fields House site in Circular Quay, the development is part owned by Lendlease alongside Mitsubishi Estate Asia, which took aArtists’ impression of a master suite in Lendlease’s One Circular Quay project, due to be completed by 2026.
The tower’s sales campaign – which launched last year – is being handled by Chairman of CBRE’s residential projects, Justin Brown. Prestige Buyers agent Sydney Slice’s Stephen Smith says the project is one of the last chances to get a piece of “Sydney’s centre stage”, with current buy-in prices only going in one direction.“It happens every now and then, maybe you see three or four of these in a lifetime – The Toaster is one,” Mr Smith said, referring to the controversial luxury apartments on nearby Macquarie Street. “I think people will kick themselves for not buying one. I think it’s the best apartment in Circular Quay.
