Less than two months before the Ondo State governorship election, Mrs. Susan Gbemisola Alabi, the deputy governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), has resigned from both the party and the race.
Less than two months before the Ondo State governorship election, Mrs. Susan Gbemisola Alabi, the deputy governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party , has resigned from both the party and the race.
In a resignation letter dated October 2, 2024, and addressed to the SDP National Chairman, Alhaji Shehu Musa Gabam, Alabi confirmed her departure from the party. She also notified Akingboye of her resignation from the deputy governorship position. She continued, “Please also note that I have given notice of my resignation as the SDP Deputy Governorship Candidate in the 2024 Governorship election to Otunba Bamidele Akingboye , the SDP Governorship Candidate.”
