Ondo state chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Ade Adetimehin, has said that the party's governorship aspirant, Chief Olusola Oke, has displayed genuine love for the party by supporting Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, ahead of the November 16 governorship election in the State.

While assuring supporters of Oke of unbiased treatment, the chairman appealed to other aggrieved party members and aspirants not to move to other party and remain in APC but rather emulate Olusola Oke.He urged them to shun anti party activities and join force in moving the party forward especially as they prepare for the governorship election slated for 16th November 2024.
Oke said “I am not an emergency politician. I have campaigned for governorship in this State four times and I have all it takes to be Governor. I did everything I needed to do in the primary but the rest is now history.“I had various options and my supporters were ready to follow any action I will take. But the peace, unity and development of this State is paramount to me.
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, in his response thanked Chief Oke and his supporters for pledging their support for his candidature, describing the event as a sign of victory for the APC in the coming governorship election.
