NUP Chairman Comrade Johnson Osunyemi praised Aiyedatiwa's administration for its support, stating, “We are satisfied that Aiyedatiwa stopped part payment of our pension and restored full payment of our monthly pensions.” Osunyemi further expressed the union’s gratitude, saying, “We wish to use today’s celebration not only to celebrate your empathetic and compassionate dispositions to us alone but also to affirm that you are our anointed candidate.”
