Filipino Pokémon UNITE fans rejoice!
The Filipino Pokémon UNITE representatives started their tournament campaign with an undefeated run in the group stage, going 2-0 in Group F by beating Team YT and UD Vessuwan.In the playoffs, they defeated their first opponent, 00 Nation, before succumbing to their eventual grand final opponent Luminosity in the upper bracket semis, pushing them down to the lower bracket of the tournament.
As the tournament’s first runner-up, OMO Abyssinian will take home USD $75,000 out of the USD $500,000 prize pool.
