“The girls have been on so many ups and downs that they were happy it was going to be over, but [they] fear for their mom going to jail.”

anonymous source. “The girls have been spending a lot of time at their parents’ house recently, and they are becoming much more of a tight-knit family.

“The girls have been on so many ups and downs that they were happy it was going to be over, but [they] fear for their mom going to jail,” the insider added. Loughlin and Giannulli were charged with several offenses related to the $500,000 they allegedly paid over a couple years to get their daughters, Olivia and Bella, into the University of Southern California, posing as crew recruits. The scheme’s ringleader, used this method—that is, posing high schoolers as athletic recruits with the help of his contacts in athletic departments—to place kids at schools from the East Coast to the West.

The parents’ legal team and federal prosecutors struck a deal in which Loughlin would be sentenced to two months in prison, pay a $150,000 fine, and complete two years of supervised release with 100 hours of community service. Giannulli’s deal would give him five months, a $250,000 fine, and two years of supervised release with 250 hours of community service. The money-laundering and bribery charges against them would be dropped. However, the judge still has to approve the agreements.

Olivia Jade, always the more public of the two daughters thanks to her fledgling YouTube career, has made her way back to the platform, with tutorials and one or two messages about how she can’t really address the situation . She’s gotten a puppy in the meantime and also, along with her sister, posted a warm message of support for her mother on Instagram over Mother’s Day weekend.
