Now they’ve placed a second song, “Here It Is Christmastime,” on those same three charts. Originally written and recorded for the band’s 2018 albumwith Kevin Bacon handling lead vocals. The actor and the 97′s also teamed up to sing it earlier this month onThe Old 97′s will have more chances to do duets Feb. 21-27 when they board the Outlaw Country Cruise in Miami. Shipmates include Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle and Dallas natives Ray Wylie Hubbard and Joshua Ray Walker.
Before that, they’ll return to their Deep Ellum stomping grounds for a series of 30th anniversary shows at Sons of Hermann Hall and the Studio at the Factory ..
