COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. was named co-Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week by the conference on Monday morning. Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy was named the other recipient, after a 21 of 27 for 287 yard passing performance in a 49-0 win over Michigan State.
Harrison had a remarkable game against then-No. 7 Penn State and totaled 162 yards on 11 catches for a touchdown. Ten of Harrison’s catches went for first downs, as the best receiver in the country terrorized the Penn State secondary as part of an offense that was missing its second wide receiver in Emeka Egbuka. Harrison now has 42 catches and 766 yards with six touchdowns this season.
