The Ohio State football defensive tackle who jump-started his career with a breakout against Notre Dame last season can do the same in South Bend on Saturday.
Most assumed by now Hall would also have a more impressive stats page. He recored 4.5 sacks in the first five games last season. That included his insane 2.5 sacks on eight snaps at Michigan State.
Notre Dame will attack between the tackles with running back Audric Estime. His 8.27 yards per carry are second-most in the nation for any running back with 40 or more attempts. He combines power and burst and can chunk out yardage against defenses who overcompensate to deny quarterback Sam Hartman.
