COLUMBUS, Ohio — A Columbus man was indicted Tuesday on multiple counts involving human trafficking, according to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. Desmond Thomas, 25, also known as “TommyGun Nino,” is facing five felony counts, including trafficking in persons, rape, compelling prostitution, promoting prostitution and commercial sexual exploitation of a minor. Thomas is in custody.

Thomas was indicted after the Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force received a tip in August 2021 regarding a juvenile posting advertisements on a website for prostitution, according to the attorney general’s office.
