Meet the new cereal brand created for the conscious breakfast lover
A few weeks ago, Quaker Oats announced that it would be rebranding the Aunt Jemima pancake mix and syrup. The decision was made in the wake of the murder of George Floyd and subsequent social uprisings against systemic racism and inequality that perpetuates in the U.S.
Did you eat cereal growing up? Why specifically did you decide to focus your efforts on creating a new kind of cereal? Describe the characters you created for the cereal box art—what or whom were they inspired by and what is the meaning behind the art? Each flavor is a direct function of the character's personality. DASH can't stop the hustle so she needs cereal to keep her going. ZOMBIE just wants to chill and needs the adaptogens to slow things down.
