Oceanside names suspect in shooting that killed 22-year-old woman riding in back of SUV [Breaking]
Oceanside police on Tuesday said they are looking for a 25-year-old man suspected of opening fire on an SUV last weekend, killing a woman who was a passenger in the vehicle.
According to police, Pacheco was in the SUV when her friends in the vehicle got into an argument with a pedestrian at Bush and Archer streets shortly before 11:45 a.m. Saturday. Pacheco’s friends called 911 for help, thinking she was having a panic attack and having trouble breathing, Oceanside police said.Officers arrived to find that she had been shot and had stopped breathing. They provided aid until paramedics arrived and took Pacheco to a hospital, where she died.
