The occupants of the pickup truck have not been located, investigators say
Investigators were still searching Monday for the occupants of a pickup truck who fled the scene after the vehicle crashed head-on into an SUV in East Brunswick over the weekend, authorities said.
Police were called to the scene of the crash at the intersection of Ryders Lane and Peach Orchard Drive just after 8:40 p.m. on Sunday, according to a joint statement from theInvestigators said a Dodge Ram had crossed the double yellow line and struck an Acura MDX head-on. By the time officers arrived, the occupants of the Ram had fled on foot, the office said. The man, woman and two children who were inside the MDX remained on the scene and were taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for treatment, police said. The severity of their injuries was unclear.
