Police said they seized $139,000 in cash from a drug dealer’s car.
OAKLAND — Authorities made a large drug bust outside McClymonds High School in Oakland and detained four suspects, police announced Tuesday.
The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office said it seized 15 pounds of fentanyl, one kilo of heroin and $139,000 in cash from a drug dealer’s car at the McClymonds High School parking lot, according to a sheriff’s office social media post. Four suspects were taken into custody. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, overdose, harm and death have been linked to illicitly manufactured fentanyl, which is often combined with heroin or other drugs.
