A man fatally shot inside his Oakland home Tuesday morning has been identified by police.
OAKLAND — A 38-year-old man fatally shot Tuesday morning inside his East Oakland home was identified by police Wednesday as Nicholas Lord.
Lord was shot about 12:11 a.m. Tuesday inside his home in the 1100 block of Novelda Drive in the Sobrante Park area. Police said he had gotten into a dispute with another person who shot him and then fled before officers arrived. Other people were also inside the residence but no one else was injured.
