Although Pride month kicked off June 1, this weekend is the big one because of the annual Pride Parade.
FOX 5's Stephanie Bertini has the latest on what the city is doing to celebrate - and stay safe - during NYC Pride weekend.
Pride weekend is officially underway in New York City, like every year, there are events and celebrations across the five boroughs. "I’m trans and I’m proud, and I want to be in my community," said Vee Cinder, who was at a pride event in Brooklyn on Saturday."This event means a lot to me," said Senior Communications Manager at New York City Pride, David Clarke.
