On Wednesday, April 13, the Food and Drug Administration approved the administration of a second Covid-19 booster shot for select individuals, according to DOH. DOH said that it received the additional emergency use authorization from the FDA to administer an additional Covid-19 vaccine booster dose to all senior citizens 60 years old and above, the immunocompromised, and frontline healthcare workers.
