PETALING JAYA: Kesatuan Kebangsaan Pekerja-Pekerja Bank mendakwa Bank Negara Malaysia menerima 36 sen daripada setiap caj RM1 bagi pengeluaran tunai antara bank melalui Sistem Pembayaran Elektronik Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. .

“BNM perlu mengutamakan peranannya sebagai pengawal selia yang melindungi rakyat, bukan sebagai entiti yang mencari keuntungan. “Walaupun caj ini kelihatan kecil, ia terkumpul menjadi jumlah yang signifikan RM3 seminggu, RM156 setahun wang yang sepatutnya boleh digunakan untuk keperluan asas seperti makanan atau peralatan sekolah,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan hari ini.

“Tandatangani petisyen ini untuk menunjukkan sokongan anda dan sertai gerakan #HapusCajRM1. Setiap tandatangan membawa kita lebih dekat kepada keadilan,” katanya.
