NT Member for Namatjira Bill Yan says Northern Territory police are at the “breaking point” and “need assistance” in controlling the increased crime and violence within the state.
“Our police are at breaking point, they’re tired, they’re absolutely worn out, I see it day in day out,” Mr Yan told Sky News Northern Territory correspondent Matt Cunningham.
“They need some help, they need assistance, and they also need a little bit of a break, this might be just that thing they need.”
