woman who took her neighbour to court over a dispute about a hedge has been slammed for wasting everyone’s time.
The 17 lilly pilly trees which form the hedge were planted that year and were about 2.5m tall at the time of the application. In her application, Schulze said in the past she had kept the hedge trimmed near the height of the 1.8m fence — having been given permission by Russell to do so — but his tenants wanted the trees to be taller in a bid for more privacy.
“The applicant’s nominated district views of native and urban vegetation were not obstructed by the hedge, and nor was sunlight to nominated windows obstructed by the hedge,” he said.Douglas slammed Schulze for making the application, as well as wasting everyone’s time.
