NSW has reported 170 new local coronavirus cases on Friday, as NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian repeats that the number of cases active in the community continues to be too high

Only 65 of the cases were in isolation for their entire infectious period. This morning new restrictions came into force in the Blacktown, Campbelltown, Canterbury-Bankstown, Cumberland, Fairfield, Georges Rivers, Liverpool and Parramatta local government areas.
