NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet says the government is committed to “not making the same mistakes of the past” amid the devastating flooding in the state’s Central West.

“There are difficult times that lie ahead, but what we’re committed to is not making the same mistakes of the past,” Mr Perrottet said during a media conference on Tuesday.

“We can’t, in many circumstances, unwind the past; what we can do is not make those mistakes going forward.”
