Plateau United have refuted claims that the licences of their newly registered players have been withdrawn. The general manager of the club, Habila Mutla, stated that the claims were false. Mutla disclosed this in a press statement on Friday.

The statement reads: ' Plateau United officially debunks claims making the rounds on social media and other news platforms that licences belonging to its newly registered players have been withdrawn as a result of outstanding salary debts, saying it is completely false.

'The said player signed for Plateau United FC on loan three seasons ago, just before the current General Manager, Habila Hosea Mutla, came on board.
