Fuzi Harun berkata, penganjur himpunan Hari Wanita Sedunia pada 9 Mac lalu melanggar undang-undang dengan meneruskan acara itu tanpa permit.
Peguam, Syahredzan Johan antara yang individu menggesa polis menghentikan siasatan ke atas penganjur himpunan itu. Katanya, tiada alasan untuk menyiasat penganjur di bawah Akta Perhimpunan Aman kerana mereka mematuhi Section 9 akta itu.“Buat masa ini, polis sedang menyediakan kertas siasatan. Sebaik sahaja disiapkan, ia akan diserahkan kepada timbalan pendakwa raya.”“Tempoh notis kurang daripada 10 hari. Jika mereka memenuhi tempoh itu, kami tentu akan meluluskan perarakan itu.”
