At its essence, the concept signifies a work-life balance that recognises the importance of taking breaks, slowing down and pausing when you need to.
"Everyone has different speeds ... I think some people have this amazing capacity to be like a husky and just run. I do not have that, I need time to recover." "Most jobs aren't worth your mental wellbeing or your overall health ... You should be able to take a lunch break and be able to leave on time," she adds.
Jennifer Luke, a researcher at the University of Southern Queensland, specialises in career development and meaningful work. "Social media is so rapid and so is consumerism, as are many other things in our lives, so I think any reminder to slow down is beneficial," she said.
