The Northern Mindanao Regional Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (RDRRMC) has confirmed three fatalities from severe flooding due to heavy rains brought about by  the trough of Low Pressure Area (LPA) affecting the province of Lanao del Norte.

Thousands of residents had to prepare for evacuation as rising floodwater entered houses in low-lying residential areas. According to the Lanao del Norte provincial government, more than 2,000 residents in its seven municipalities have been evacuated due to severe flooding.
