North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un told Russia's President Vladimir Putin he supported Russia's “sacred fight” to protect its security during talks in Russia's Far East. Kim Jong Un offered Putin his country’s full and unconditional support to the president’s war in Ukraine and vowed North Korea “will always be together with Russia in the fight against imperialism”. The two leaders met at the Vostochny spaceport in Russia’s far eastern Amur region marking the second meeting since the North Korean leader came to power in 2011. Not long after the meeting began, South Korean and Japanese officials detected the launch of two short-range ballistic missiles from North Korea. The two missiles fell into the sea outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone.
