JOHOR BARU, Aug 26 — The nomination centres for the Pulai and Simpang Jeram by-elections in Johor opened simultaneously at 9am today.
The campaigning period is for 14 days starting after the declaration of the contesting candidates by the EC until 11.59pm on September 8. Meanwhile, based on the weather forecast by the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in Johor Baru and Muar districts this morning.
