KOTA KINABALU: No Sabahan will be left behind, said Head of State Tun Musa Aman in his maiden policy address, highlighting the government’s commitment to balanced development, social inclusion, and environmental protection.
Speaking at the opening of the fifth session of the 16th Sabah State Legislative Assembly, Musa outlined ongoing efforts to eradicate poverty and uplift rural areas, including the removal of 22,510 households from the hardcore poor category.
Advertisement He announced the expansion of the Rumah Mesra SMJ housing initiative to 40 units per constituency and the continued rollout of rural electrification and clean water supply programmes, benefiting thousands. Musa also pointed to inclusive policies such as the opening of the Sabah Autism Centre and support for vulnerable groups through NGO funding and welfare aid.
