KUALA LUMPUR: Vacant posts in Bukit Aman’s top brass, including the posts of Deputy IGP and Special Branch director, will be filled soon, says Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
The Home Minister said there was no problem in filling them, following the retirement of several Bukit Aman directors recently.“It has to go through the process of submitting the name to the Prime Minister, who will then bring it to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong ,” he told a press conference after witnessing the handing over ceremony for the IGP’s post.
Asked whether the post of Deputy IGP would be settled within a week, Muhyiddin said he believed it should be concluded soon.
