Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri debunked the alleged “tampering” of the controversial Maharlika Investment Fund bill, highlighting that the “enrolled” bill he signed is the “truthful reflection of the intent of legislators.” | charieabarcaINQ

The statement was issued after

that the enrolled bill being sent to the President is not the version approved by Congress, saying that there is a provision that was changed without plenary approval.Zubiri, however, refuted Pimentel’s argument.

But, Zubiri said this had been settled by merging the two sections retaining the 10-year prescriptive period.
