KUALA LUMPUR: There is no guarantee as to when the Ampang Light Rail Transit (LRT) line service disruption will end so far, says Transport Minister Anthony Loke.
Thus, he has advised passengers using the Ampang LRT line to plan their journey for the coming Monday as the route between the Masjid Jamek LRT station and Bandaraya LRT station was unable to operate due to a kinked track alignment detected near the Bandaraya LRT station on Friday .
"When their report is done, we will decide on how to mitigate and make further announcements maybe in a day or two. Loke acknowledged that while closing the route was an inconvenience to commuters, it had to be done in order to prioritise the safety of the passengers.
