Jason Kelce did not confirm that his brother Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are dating, contrary to reports about a morning radio show appearance, with the Eagles star saying he was 'joking'
Asked again on the talk show Wednesday morning, Jason said that the report was “100% true,” which led to the internet — and the hosts themselves — thinking it was fully confirmed.
But audio from Jason’s interview shows he immediately says he’s “joking” about having the insider information on his brother’s rumored romance. "It's hard to answer because I don't really know a lot about Travis' love life,” Jason told the radio hosts. “I try to keep his business kind of his business, stay out of that world." But, he continued, "having said that, man, I think they're doing great and I think it's all 100% true, and I hope this thing goes a mile — no, I'm joking, I don't know what's happening.
Representatives for the “Blank Space” singer and Travis, a two-time Super Bowl champion, have not commented on their relationship when reached by PEOPLE in recent days.earlier this month linked the two romantically.podcast that he was trying to meet Swift backstage at one of her stops on her Eras tour this summer and that he tried to give her his phone number. But ultimately, Travis said his initial attempt to woo the pop star was unsuccessful.
"I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings," he said.
