CLEVELAND, Ohio – State troopers say a plane carrying several federal marshals and an inmate crashed Wednesday in Geauga County.
The Federal Aviation Administration received a distress call from the aircraft that it was experiencing engine failure and needed to perform an emergency landing at the Geauga County Airport, authorities said. The landing exceeded the length of the runway and subsequently caused moderate damage to the aircraft, troopers said.
