PETALING JAYA: For frontliners on duty during Hari Raya Aidiladha, being away from the family is their sacrifice to the country.
Medical officer Abdul Rashid Saad, 32, said he won’t be able to weave the ketupat palas with his mother and sister in Pahang this year as he would be on duty at Hospital Ampang, Selangor.
Radio producer and announcer Muhamad Fairuz Hiras said it was not easy for him to be away from his family, who would gather to celebrate Hari Raya at his hometown in Klang or Hulu Selangor.
