No charges in the California taser death of an unarmed black man who was the brother of a Facebook executive
REDWOOD CITY, Calif.—County prosecutors said Friday that they wouldn’t file criminal charges in the death of the brother of a Facebook Inc. executive who was repeatedly tased by law enforcement last year.
Chinedu Okobi, a 36-year-old unarmed black man with a history of mental illness, died in October after a confrontation with five San Mateo County sheriff’s deputies who tased him four times.
