No arrests made over Kg Tasik Asal Cunex blockade, say cops

They say although 2 police reports were made earlier, there were no untoward incidents when the authorities dismantled the blockade.

Enforcement officials dismantling the blockade put up by the Orang Asli to prevent lorries from transporting timber out from the jungles near Gerik.

“The villagers did not create trouble or resort to rioting. So, no arrests were made and no action was taken against the villagers,” Perak police chief Razarudin Husain @ Abd Rasid said.
