The Nittany Lions are expected to be right near the top of the B1G this season.

Medina Bees football alumnus Drew Allar will have the reigns under center for Penn State to start the season. The 6-4foot-5, 240-pound sophomore has been projected as one of the top quarterbacks in the Big-10, and will look to lead the Nittany Lions after an 11-2 campaign last season. He’s stepping in for Sean Clifford who finished his college career as Penn State’s All-time passing yards leader with 10,661.

Saturday’s matchup will be the first between the two programs since 1992, when Kerry Collins was the big man on campus at Penn State. The Nittany Lions hold a 48-9-2 edge in the series, are 31-3 at home and have won 32 of the last 34 matchups.
