NLEX Candaba highway expected to fully open for Holy Week

THE 6.8-kilometer Candaba viaduct will be reopened to traffic in time for the Holy Week from April 3 to 9, according to an official of the North LuzoN Expressway Corp. .Deputy Speaker and Pampanga 3rd District Rep. Aurelio Gonzales Jr.quoted NLEX Vice President Jennifer Jane Go as saying that the southbound lane of the viaduct will be fully retrofitted by March after it was closed for repairs.

'That's good news to my constituents and my Kabalen in Pampanga, and to thousands of motorists who traditionally go to tourism and vacation sites in Northern Luzon throughout the Lenten period, and to those from the north who will drive to Metro Manila and Southern Luzon,' Gonzales said following an inter-agency consultative meeting on Monday.
