SELECT toll plazas across the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx) will have a dry run implementation of the 100 percent Radio Frequency ID (RFID) or Contactless Toll Collection starting September 1, the NLEX Corp. announced on Friday.
In a Facebook advisory, seven toll plazas along NLEx and two along SCTEx will be having the dry run.The NLEx toll plazas under the 100 percent RFID dry implementation are as follows: Ciudad de Victoria northbound, Sta.
Rita northbound, Pulilan northbound and southbound, San Simon northbound, Mexico, and Dau southbound.Meanwhile, at the SCTex, only toll plazas at Dolores and the Subic Freeport Expressway will join the dry run.Motorists are advised to get their free RFID or to load up their accounts, if they have one.
