Bloomberg reported on Saturday, citing people familiar with the situation, that Ma will leave the company within weeks of Nissan issuing a profit warning and announcing plans to cut thousands of jobs globally. Ma became Nissan ’s finance chief in 2019, replacing Hiroshi Karube, weeks after Makoto Uchida was named as its next CEO.
