Haley faces an uphill battle as she seeks the GOP nomination, falling far behind former President Donald Trump and Gov. Ron DeSantis in the polls. However, the former United Nations ambassador benefits from a positive favorability rating that could help elevate her candidacy over the coming months.More than half of GOP voters say they would vote for Trump if the GOP primaries were held today, with DeSantis lagging at 26%, according to a recent poll by Morning Consult.
However, Haley enjoys a 47% favorability rating, putting her among the top four GOP contenders to receive such high marks. Trump still leads the pack in that category with a 77% favorability rating, according to the poll.
