One of Disney World’s most leisurely rides turned into a nightmarish cruise when a woman jumped out of her boat and berated trapped riders.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office could not confirm the identity of the woman in the clips, but a spokesperson did tell SFGATE that deputies responded to “two separate disturbances” involving the same 37-year-old woman on Friday night.
The first occurred at 7 p.m. at the Mexico Pavilion, which is where the Gran Fiesta Tour ride is located. The second was about an hour later in the queue for. Deputies believe the woman was intoxicated. “The victims in both incidents did not wish to prosecute” and the woman “was trespassed from property,” the spokesperson said. Individuals who are trespassed from Disney property tend to be banned, at least temporarily, from making future visits.
In comparison to Magic Kingdom, which only serves alcohol at sit-down restaurants, Epcot has gained a reputation for drunken antics.
