The late representative served the Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency of Ogun State until her death. She also held the esteemed position of Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives.
In a statement released by the House spokesperson, Akin Rotimi, Onanuga was lauded for championing policies that positively impacted women and advanced social welfare for all Nigerians during her time in office. Rotimi described Onanuga as a brilliant and passionate individual who executed her duties as Deputy Chief Whip with exceptional skill.
