Nigeria's Galaxy Backbone has announced a government service portal to boost citizen engagement. The Spokesperson of the agency, Chidi Okpala disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, noting that the initiative is in partnership with Korea International Cooperation Agency, KOICA.

The Spokesperson of the agency, Chidi Okpala disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, noting that the initiative is in partnership with Korea International Cooperation Agency, KOICA. According to the statement, KOICA had high-level training with Twelve government agencies to drive the first phase of the initiative.

'The goal of the workshop was to familiarize these agencies with the GSP’s features, capabilities, and integration process, and to ensure seamless service delivery as the portal goes live', the statement partly reads. Commenting on the initiative, the Permanent Secretary Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy, Faruk Yabo highlighted the significance of this project and the need for deepened collaboration and deeper citizen engagement.
