In his opening remarks, the Coordinator of Nigerian Army Aviation, Major General MS Alkali, expressed immense pride and gratitude for the breakthrough. Reflecting on the journey to this point, Alkali highlighted the rigorous planning and unwavering support from army leadership and international partners.
In his address, Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja celebrated the realisation of a long-held dream for Nigerian Army Aviation. Acknowledging the challenges faced, Lagbaja expressed gratitude to the various administrations, particularly Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari, former Presidents, for their support.
