Governor Mohammed Bago of Niger has announced that each of the 1,600 corps members posted to the state will receive a bonus of N200,000 from Niger Farms, amounting to a total of N320 million.
He made the declarations during the swearing-in ceremony for the 2024 Batch B Stream I corps members at the NYSC orientation camp in Paiko, Niger State. Governor Bago stated, “All corps members serving in Niger State today are entitled to a N200,000 bonus from Niger farms. This is to give you comfort to stay in Niger State.
The governor also promised automatic employment for corps members in the medical field upon completion of their service.
