The National Housing Authority (NHA) provided financial assistance to 58 families who were victims of a fire in Parañaque City on Tuesday, August 8.

The distribution of financial assistance to beneficiaries under the emergency housing assistance program was held at the Parañaque City Sports Complex.

Olivarez said the the distribution of financial assistance was made possible by Senator Christopher"Bong" Go. He said 26 homeowners from Barangay Merville, 30 from Barangay Don Galo, and two from Barangay San Antonio received the financial assistance of P15,000 to P30,000 from the NHA. The city government also distributed toiletries, food packs, and five kilos of rice to the fire victims.
