KAJANG: A group of NGOs has filed police reports en masse against the planned Dec 28 gathering organised by educationist group Dong Jiao Zong.
“In our report, we urge the police to investigate all of their activities which have brought unrest among the races here, ” said Pertubuhan Kebajikan Darul Islah Malaysia president Masridzi Sat, speaking for the group.
The NGOs also issued a warning, saying that they would be present at the planned meeting if it is not stopped. His comments came after Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said the planned gathering by Chinese associations over the Jawi calligraphy module issue would only further divide the country.
