The Bears reportedly added some depth to their wide receiver room.
Sharpe, 27, caught 25 passes for 230 yards in 15 games last season for the Atlanta Falcons. For his career, Sharpe has caught 117 passes for 1,398 yards and eight touchdowns.
His best season came in 2016 when he caught 41 passes for 522 yards and two touchdowns during his rookie season with the Tennessee Titans. Sharpe joins a Bears wide receivers room that includes Darnell Mooney, Equanimeous St. Brown, Byron Pringle, and Dazz Newsome. Sharpe gives the Bears much-needed depth at wide receiver, but shouldn't take Chicago out of the running for other remaining free-agent receivers.
